Plyometrics, also known as "jump training" or "plyos", are exercises based on having muscles exert maximum force in as short a time as possible, with the goal of increasing both speed and power. This training focuses on learning to move from a muscle extension to a contraction in a rapid or "explosive" way, for example with specialized repeated jumping. Plyometrics are primarily used by athletes to improve performance.
Soft Impact Plyo Boxes
Soft Impact boxes are the clear choice for Commercial training facilities, athletic training centers, school, and military applications. The high-density foam core of these boxes provides a solid but safe landing area. In the case of a missed jump, the athlete is not subjected to the danger of hitting the shin on a hard surface. Boxes can be securely velcored to each other to form higher boxes.
3-in-1 Plyometric Box
The 3-in-1 Plyo box offers three heights in one box. 20", 24" and 30". The 3-in-1 is constructed of Grade A plywood. All sharp edges are sanded down. The box is covered with two coats of poly-urethane low gloss varnish to enhance durability and tactile contact on box surface. Box has internal reinforcement structure. All holes are pre-tapped and box comes with easy to follow assembly instructions and all needed hardware. Box ships flat which saves money on shipping.
