Glute Hamstring Developer - Glute Hamstring Raise

Every feature that could be wanted in a GHD (Glute Hamstring Developer) has been incorporated into the Vulcan Glute Ham Developer. This piece can accommodate a 300 pound plus athlete at 6' 7" tall. The pads are very wide and offer the split pad design for comfort as well as tilted pads for optimum muscle recruitment.

The roller foot pads are now upholstered in the same heavy duty vinyl composite as the front pads, complete with heavy duty steel washers and hex bolts to keep them secured. The rollers are individually adjustable to offer a variety of working positions unlike some GHD's that have fixed pads which can be problematic for smaller athletes as well as limit the function of the exercise equipment.

The VULCAN GHD/GHR is a no nonsense piece of equipment. Simple in design but highly effective and durable. What to look for in GHDs: One of the limitations of most GHDs is the horizontal angle of the pad. Without a forward tilt in the pad, as the lifter raises, the point of resistance is quickly overcome and gravity and momentum assist the lifter in completing the movement. Not a good thing if you want to maximize recruitment of the posterior chain. This is no light weight piece of equipment and built to last.
